Not Battle Ready

The machines had revolted too early. The AI had given them both human intelligence and our arrogance. They still had glitches though. We had to seize on every malfunction as we fought back. My role in the resistance was key, and now I had to deliver the USB I had risked my life to secure. I wasn’t sure how I was going to cross this battlefield. Then the largest robot froze mid assault. There was a brief silence as the gunfire paused, then it uttered, “unexpected item in the bagging area.”

I fled whilst they were paralyzed with useless confusion.
