Why is it always coffee? Whatever happened to a moonlit stroll?

The vampire feigned another sip, flinching as the ceramic clipped her fangs.

“I like long walks,” her date was rambling. “And I’m on an ultimate frisbee team. Oh, and I’m into bones! In like, an archaeology way…” She barked a nervous laugh.

She was cute though. Messy hair. Carefree grin. Big brown eyes.

This might just be worth it…

Across the table, the vampire’s date pantomimed another swig, wincing.

Even decaf is toxic to dogs.
